The glorious, exciting, big plan of God has never changed from the assignment God gave Adam and Eve in the garden of Eden. What was that assignment? To spread the glory of God throughout the earth!

One commentary defined the glory this way: wealth, numbers, commerce, power, wisdom, promotion, superiority, dignity, authority, nobility, splendor, valor, magnificence, extraordinary privileges, and advantages.

Let's go back to the glorious beginning in Genesis in the Garden of Eden and establish some things. Genesis 1:3, and God said let there be light and there was what? Light. Question: how did God make the light? With His word.

Verse six, Then God said, "Let there be a firmament in the midst of the waters, and let it divide the waters from the waters." Firmament means an expanse, an expansion, an expanded sky. God said and then God made it. How did God make that expanded sky? With His words.

Verse eleven, Then God said, "Let the earth bring forth grass…" and in verse twelve it says the earth brought forth grass. How did God do that? With His words! In verse fourteen God said, "Let there be lights in the firmament of the heavens." Verse fifteen God said, and let them be for lights in the firmament of the heavens to give light on the earth and in verse sixteen it says, "God made two great lights." How did He do that? With words!

In Genesis God makes things with His words.
And the Lord God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life and man became a living being. And the Lord God planted a garden eastward in Eden, and there He put the man whom He had formed.
(Gen. 2:7-8)
The Power of God's Word
We see God making man and we see God planting a garden. God made man from His word. To be consistent with how God made things in Genesis 1, we must conclude that God formed man with words and God planted gardens with words.

He did it with words. Some say flesh can't come just out of words. But John 1:14 states
And the Word was made flesh!
So flesh can come out of words because the Word was made flesh. Adam, physical Adam, was a result of the Word of God. That word was blessed and empowered and physical Adam was a result of a Word seed.

This man God made with His word is the glory! The word was made flesh and dwelt among us. Some would say it is talking about Jesus. But God made the Last Adam just like the first Adam. They have to be just alike in order for Jesus to get us out of the mess Adam got us in.

The First and Last Adam Made The Same
So if Adam came as the result of the word, Jesus would have had to come as a result of the word! Both of them have to have the same type of blood running through their veins. The blood type of the baby is always determined by the daddy! Since they didn’t have a physical daddy, they had to have God’s blood running through their veins.

Jesus had to have the same blood in His veins the first Adam had in his veins in order to get us out.
The Word became Flesh, and dwelt among us and beheld His glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father, full of grace and truth.
(John 1:14)
Jesus, the last Adam, was referred to as the glory of the Father. Why? Because He came out of the Word the Father released.
For a man indeed ought not to cover his head, for as much as he is the image and glory of God; but the woman is the glory of the man. For the man is not of the woman but the woman is of the man.
(1 Cor. 11:7)

For a man shall not wear anything on his head in church for he is the image and the reflected glory of God, he is the reflected glory of God.
(1 Cor. 11:7 AMP)
God spoke words and Adam came as a result of those words. Adam ‘man’ was the glory of those words that God released.
What is man that You are mindful of him, And the son of man that You visit him? For You have made him a little lower than angels (Elohim), And You have crowned him with glory and honor.
(Ps. 8:4-5)
He crowned him with what? Glory and honor. Man is the glory of God! You are His reflected image! So you can say "I am God’s reflected image."

You can’t get the glory until you start realizing you are the glory!

For in Hebrews 1:3 it says: "He upholds all things by the word of His power," indicating the word is His power! I submit the man and the garden were an expression of the Word of God and the blessing of God. The garden and the man were the glory, the manifestation, and the fruit of God’s Word and blessing.

When the Word was made flesh the Bible says in John 1:14, we beheld his what? Glory! So when the word made man and man was manifested – man was the glory of God’s word.

God Giving Two Free Gifts
The garden was the glory of God, the man in the garden was the glory of God.
Then God blessed them, and God said to them, “Be fruitful and multiply; fill the earth and subdue it; have dominion over the fish of the sea, over the birds of the air, and over every living thing that moves on the earth.”

And God said, “See, I have given you every herb that yields seed which is on the face of all the earth, and every tree whose fruit yields seed; to you it shall be for food.
(Gen. 1:28-29)
We see God giving man two free gifts. The first gift is dominion in verse 28 and the second he gives is seed in verse 29. Two free gifts extended to mankind: dominion or the right to command, and seed.

What can a man do with dominion, authority and seed? Anything he (she) wants. When you have the right to command and you have seed, you can do what you want to do. You can make your way prosperous and you will have good success.
