"Do you remember when you blew it?" the devil will ask you. And it is true, you have messed up before.
The devil - if you let him - will begin to beat you over the head. He will remind you of other mistakes and botches and messes you have made until you begin to feel that you are the failure, not just someone who has made some mistakes.
Always remember that God does not make failures. He only creates winners.
