"...The things which are impossible with men are possible with God" (Luke 18:27).

Jesus Christ, the Son of God, spoke these words to His disciples. But did you know that He is still speaking these words to you today?

I'm sure that many times you've been confronted with situations and circumstances that have seemed impossible and insurmountable to you. Many times you may have felt that God spoke to you about something He wanted you to do, but the natural circumstances seemed to scream at you, "It's impossible! You can't do it!" Maybe even well-meaning people told you, "You can't do that! It's impossible!"

But I read in my Bible that the God of the impossible says, "I can do all things. Whatever you need, I can do it! Nothing is impossible with Me!" In Jeremiah 32:27, God said, "Behold, I am the Lord, the God of all flesh: is there any thing too hard for me?"

So before you consider the natural circumstances, consider the God of the impossible whom you serve. God can't fail you. No circumstance is too hard for Him. The God of the impossible laughs at difficulties.

So when you're overwhelmed with thoughts of failure and the words of people telling you that you can't succeed, look to God! Don't be hindered by thoughts of doubt or people's words. I don't know about you, but I choose to believe God rather than doubt and unbelief. Some of you just need to believe God rather than the circumstances!

Sometimes people ask, "What's going to happen to us believers in a world of instability?"

When people ask me questions like that, I am reminded of several million people in the Old Testament whom God called His people. He fed, clothed, and took care of them in the middle of the wilderness for forty years!

If God can take care of them, He can take care of us. God hasn't changed! His wonder-working power is still available to those who trust Him.

People may call us simple-minded if we dare to believe God and take Him at His Word. But I believe that nothing is impossible to the God of the impossible!

Every day as you walk upon this earth, you will be faced with the decision to either believe God or the adverse circumstances. You will have to make the decision to believe that the God of the impossible can cause you to succeed in life. You'll have to believe God rather than the doubt and unbelief you hear in the world.

If you are being driven and buffeted by the trials of life, I challenge you to believe God in the face of every opposing obstacle. Dare to declare with the Apostle Paul, "I believe God that it shall be even as it was told me" (Acts 27:25).

Proclaim to the world that what the God of the impossible has said in His Word, He is able to perform! Stand on the promise of God: "For with God nothing shall be impossible" (Luke 1:37).
