"For he that is entered into his rest, he also hath ceased from his own works, as God did from his" (KJV).

When you talk about the rest of God you're, talking about activating God's supernatural ability. When we get out of God's way, His ability is enforced for us.

When you are entering into God's rest you'll stop trying to fix it yourself. Have you ever tried to help God out? I mean, he wasn't moving fast enough for you, you thought. You know exactly what I'm talking about. You may still be trying to help God out right now.

For example, the cologne you wear isn't going to get you that right man or woman. And the hairstyle isn't going to get you the right man or woman. Or the suit or dress isn't going to get you the right man or woman.

Now, you ought to look as good as you can, but that isn't what's going to do it. This is "somebody" that God sends you, will be somebody who will think you look good regardless to what.

When I met my wife, she was in a church denomination that didn't believe in wearing makeup. The first time I saw her she didn't have any make up on. When I saw her, I said, "Yes, Lord. This is where I belong, I'm coming to church this Sunday."

In other words, she was minding her own business. I saw her as she was, and I liked what I saw. I was in that church the next Sunday. When you're in the rest of God, you'll understand that if the Lord doesn't build a house you don't want it built. It means to cease from your own labor and trying to help God. God doesn't need your help.

He's got enough force and enough power, and enough, and enough angels, and enough everything necessary to take care of you and yours and far beyond what you could ever require. And He doesn't like it when you try and help Him. He says, "Believe Me, believe My word and enter into My rest.

We have a song that our choir sings that says, "Step Back, Let God Do It." You have to enter into that rest by getting out of the way. Step back and let God do it. Cease from your own labor, and then God's supernatural ability will enter in and take care of the situation.
