In July, the United States celebrates the freedom of our country. Many have served in our military and fought for us to be able to make decisions and protect our civil liberties. We honor those people and celebrate our wonderful country. In addition, we celebrate the freedom from death that our Lord Jesus provided through His sacrifice on the cross. Not one of us deserves eternity, so we are grateful that Jesus paid the price so we could soon be with Him in heaven.
So many people in America don’t yet know Jesus or have walked away from Him. It’s time for that to change! Pastor Russell Kalenberg recently encouraged us to speak up for our faith and shine a light for Jesus in this world in his message Fight or Flight. God will respond when we fight for our faith!
Remember, if you aren’t fighting for America, someone else is. Why should we sit back and complain about what is happening around us when we have the truth the world needs living inside of us! Let’s not be ashamed of the Gospel but speak up for the truth!
