God, who at sundry times and in divers manners spake in time past unto the fathers by the prophets...
(Heb. 1:1)
When the Lord spoke there was a dramatic change in this realm. He spoke and there was the creation of that which He said; "Let there be..." and there was. As His realm responded to His words, so did this natural realm.
Let them praise the name of the LORD: for He commanded, and they were created.
(Ps. 148:5)
After mankind was created He (God) spoke to, and through, His prophets. They spoke to realms, regions, rulers and ranks and brought about events that changed history. This method of Divine intervention continues to this day.

You and I are to commune with the Lord [seek Him in His word and in prayer] until we know His mind; then, we are to speak what He wants to bring to pass.

This is what is meant in 1 John 5:
And this is the confidence that we have in him, that, if we ask any thing according to his will, he heareth us: And if we know that he hears us, whatsoever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we desired of him.
(1 John 5:14-15)
When we spend enough time with Him to know His will in a matter, we can confidently decree the word of the Lord and know that He watches over His word to see that it does what it is meant to do (Jer. 1:12).

We Are To Hear and Obey
And Samuel said, Hath the LORD as great delight in burnt offerings and sacrifices, as in obeying the voice of the LORD? Behold, to obey is better than sacrifice, and to hearken than the fat of rams.
(1 Sam. 15:22)
You and I are expected to ask, seek and knock until the doors of divine revelation open, until we have met with the Lord, and we have the answer to that which we have inquired.

Once we have the answer, or an understanding of our Father's plan and purpose, we are expected to set in motion its fulfillment by speaking it forth.
The lion hath roared, who will not fear? the Lord God hath spoken, who can but prophesy?
(Amos 3:8)
In order to operate in the prophetic, one must be willing to move in prompt obedience to the word of the Lord. The miraculous breaks into the frame of time and space at appointed seasons at the Lord's sovereign choosing.

It is necessary to move quickly to the promptings of the Spirit of the Lord, lest the time pass during which the seed of the word can be planted or it's produce harvested.

Search the Scripture and seek His face as never before. These are the final hours of the last days, and much needs to be brought into place.

There are multitudes in the valley of decision that need the prophetic wind to sweep over and stir them. Many are the details that need to be set in place by prophetic decree to facilitate the soon return of our Lord.
