For example, when you make a purchase online, you don't submit your credit card information unless you're certain the site is secure. By taking this precaution, you avoid making your credit information available to unauthorized personnel.
In the same way as a secured site keeps your information safe, speaking in tongues hinders the devil from "hacking" into your prayers and stealing answers from you. You become equipped with God's power and able to withdraw wisdom for healing, debt deliverance, or the salvation of a loved one.
Most importantly, speaking in tongues enables you to cultivate a more intimate relationship with God and helps you to accomplish His perfect will in every area of your life.
Receive Your Gift
There is no secret ritual to perform to obtain the gift of tongues. Being born again (or spiritually reborn) is the only prerequisite (Acts 2:38). Although you're the one who actually speaks, the Holy Spirit gives you the utterance (the words to say).
John 7:38 in The Amplified Bible says that living waters (wisdom) will flow out of your innermost being, which is your human, reborn spirit.
Another believer can pray and lay their hands on you as a point of contact to help you receive the gift of tongues. Laying on of hands is scriptural (Acts 8:17; 19:6). God can administer this gift to you through others.
As with any gift from God, you must receive tongues by faith. Disregard all fears concerning this gift, because fear will cause you to miss out on God's best for you. Ask Him to fill you with His Spirit, and then open your mouth as an act of faith.
Allow the Holy Spirit to speak through you. Although what you hear may sound strange, continue to speak as the Holy Spirit leads you. Remember, every time you pray in tongues, you're tapping into the hidden wisdom of God. He has something great in store for you, so tap into His wisdom daily!
Use God's highly secure way to withdraw healing, debt freedom and prosperity from heaven's account. Speaking in tongues will help you cultivate your relationship with God.
