Despite the hassle you go through just to get your children to brush their teeth, bathe, keep their clothes clean or eat their vegetables, you should not forget that God desires to use them as signs and wonders in these last days.

Children are gifts from God. Did you realize that? Sure, there are days when you probably think otherwise, but nevertheless, the Bible says they are a reward, assignment and a heritage from the Lord (Ps. 127:3).

While they are in your possession you have the opportunity to impart biblical principles that will enable them to fulfill their destiny and succeed in life. Children are like little sponges, soaking up everything you say and do, whether positive or negative.

When you understand how much information they are able to retain at one time, it changes the way you approach parenting. Isaiah 8:18 says, "...I and the children whom the Lord hath given me are for signs and for wonders in Israel from the Lord of hosts...."

Despite the hassle you go through just to get your children to brush their teeth, bathe, keep their clothes clean or eat their vegetables, you should not forget that God desires to use them as signs and wonders in these last days.

As a parent, He wants you to perceive your children correctly. This means that you are able to see the gifts and callings He has placed within each of them. When you get the Word on the inside of them, they will develop a God-consciousness which will increase their levels of faith and the ability to operate in His supernatural power.

As a result, they'll begin to demonstrate to others what it means to be joined with and blessed of the Father. That should excite you!

You must assume the responsibility to train and prepare your children to be the signs and wonders they are meant to be. They don't have to wait until they're older to be used of God!

Samson, Samuel and Jesus were only boys when they began demonstrating God's power. Size and age are irrelevant. Encourage your children to see themselves laying hands on the sick and seeing them recover.

Help them create an inner image of God using them to prophesy, teach, intercede and operate under the anointing of the Holy Spirit. Train them to be a part of God's plan, and let them see that you honor the call of God on their lives.
