Words cling like wallpaper.

They create the atmosphere in the home. The most important atmosphere to raise children in is peace!

Have you ever visited a friend or neighbor, and as soon as you walked in the door, "something" on the inside of you was suddenly sad or heavy? Well, chances are, the wrong kind of words were spoken there.

Perhaps there was an argument right before you came over. Or perhaps hard rock music filled with lyrics about death, sex, and other poisonous phrases were being played. And these words have clung to the wall...stink and all.

Learn the value of words. Make them work for you. Speak words of faith to your children and they will rise up to be champions in life.

Your spouse can literally be treating you like a king or queen at the end of the day...if you speak the right kind of words at breakfast.

Wallpaper your home each day with faith and love. Say out loud, "Heaven's peace is in my home."
If you have to, say it 1,000 times every day.

Say, "I refuse to argue. I refuse to fly off of the handle. The peace of God reigns in my home."

"Well, that would be a lie," you may say. But the Bible says in the book of Hebrews, "By faith the elders obtained a good report." Based on faith (not by what you see, but based on what you believe) obtain a good report.

Let's get busy wallpapering our homes with prayers and positive words—that way, we can enjoy heaven's peace in our lives.
