Now one thing you need to understand about God is that He is romantic. He's not just spiritual. He's not just practical. He's romantic. Where do you think romance came from? God is the author of it.

Sometimes you'll hear women say that men don't know anything about romance. Every once in a while, some men will think they've got it together in that area. But once they really get a woman, they realize that all they really know is flowers and candlelight dinners.

However, when you're talking about preparing to get married, you need to find out what romance really is. I'm not saying that you should do some in-depth study on romance in the Word!

But you need to find out what she likes, what will please her, and what will surprise her when she's least expecting it. God will help you, because He's romantic.

I can just imagine the Father God walking His daughter down the aisle of the Garden and presenting her to Adam. And her wedding dress is made up of the anointing of God. (I like to look at it that way.)

Single woman, when the time comes for you to be presented to your husband, God's anointing will be all over you. You are going to stand out. And I'll tell you something—nothing draws a person more than the anointing of God. Nothing is more attractive than the anointing!

As I said, God is the author of romance. He made you, so He knows that you as a woman want romance in your life. So ask God to show the man how to romance you. And, later, when it comes time for the two of you to finally consummate your marriage, don't try to do things the way the world says to do them.

Remember, God is the original romantic, and He'll go beyond your expectations in bringing you the mate you desire.
