I told him that I couldn't let go of Jesus. As a result I am now on my own with two years of college remaining. What should I do?
I want to first of all encourage you to continue to respect and love your father. He's doing what he believes is right. However, I believe you made the right decision and I can guarantee you that things will change.
The book of 1 Peter discusses the subject of suffering loss and being persecuted because of being a Christian. The Bible forewarns us that if we make a commitment to Jesus, we will suffer persecution of one sort or another.
After Peter exhorts these believers to stay committed to Jesus during the times of persecution, he makes them a promise.
And the God of all grace, who called you to His eternal glory in Christ, after you have suffered a little while, will Himself restore you and make you strong, firm, and steadfast. The Christian who is suffering persecution is told it will only last for a season and that God Himself will actually restore the person. This means that anything we lose as a result of serving the Lord, God will return to us.
(1 Peter 5:10)
He also will make you strong, firm, and steadfast in the faith. Keep loving and praying for your dad as you continue to serve the Lord.
