"Again I say unto you, That if two of you shall agree on earth as touching any thing that they shall ask, it shall be done for them of my Father which is in heaven" (Matt. 18:19).

Why does God want us to walk in love? We need to walk in love in order to get God's will done in the earth. When you get two people who agree, without strife, come before God, He is there to cause that which they agree on to happen.

One can pray about so many things and has a huge realm of authority and dominion. But when two come together and agree, you double the power of one.

For example, you've heard of special forces groups in the armed forces. Those soldiers are different than regular soldiers. A normal special forces group consists of 12 soldiers. Within that group there is a communication specialist, a weapons specialist, a medical specialist, and a language specialist, for example.

Each man has a different job. Additionally, these people have more training than regular soldiers, yet they are few in number. In fact, there are only 50,000 special forces groups in the entire establishment of the military.

But there are 1 million regular soldiers out there. Interestingly, when someone is needed to control a whole area, they will send in the special forces teams, because a regular soldier deals one on one, but that special forces guy may control 20 to one. It will take 100 of the regular soldiers to do what the 12 can do.

Jesus is looking for the special forces in the earth, those who will walk in their dominion and authority with agreement and love. Two people agree when they understand the same thing. They are going in the same direction, not fighting with each other.

Two believers who agree can control so much more area than two that disagree. You are God's special forces.

Sadly, most Christians are not in agreement. They're going to heaven all right. But they don't walk in the love of God and most of the time they are in strife with someone. There is always something stopping their prayers, something they must decide to get rid of. Getting rid of strife and contention will certainly cause their prayers to be more effective.

Then there are those special forces Christians. They are the ones who are trained. They decide to walk in love and follow the word of the Lord at all times. They are the ones who will go to heaven with many others that they've prayed for and won to the Lord. They have been trained and are ready.

They are developed and know how to use their dominion. They know how to use their authority. You get two of them together and they will control far more area than those who are just regular Christians. And I hope that you are one of God's special forces troops.
