There is no one like you in the world! Your DNA and fingerprints are exclusively yours. God gave each of us a specific combination of gifts, skills and qualities to distinguish us from everyone else.

Instead of celebrating our individuality, however, many of us strive to be someone we are not. The enemy tempts us to compare ourselves to others and convinces us that we are somehow inferior or inadequate.

You may not think that insecurity is a big deal, but it can steal your peace, taint your relationships and prevent you from fulfilling the will of God for your life.

When I first married Creflo, I struggled with insecurity in finding my place in the ministry. I knew ministers' wives who sang and played the piano and I thought, "Good Lord, I can't play the piano; and I don't want to sing. What am I going to do?"

These thoughts were Satan's way of suggesting that I was inadequate.

Thank God for His Word. Romans 8:30 says, "...whom he did predestinate, them he also called: and whom he called, them he also justified: and whom he justified, them he also glorified."

It took a while, but I finally realized that I am called and anointed to minister to my husband and God's people.

I stopped comparing myself to other ministers' wives and submitted myself completely to God. As I yielded my will to God, I overcame my insecurities and discovered God's plan for assisting my husband in the ministry.

Oftentimes, Christians conform to the world so that people will accept them. This is a trick of the enemy to rob you of your identity. You may not realize it, but you have already been accepted (Eph. 1:6).

Satan knows that God has a plan that is tailor-made for you. Don't frustrate yourself by trying to be someone else! Thank God for the gifts and abilities that He has given you.

Celebrate who you are in Christ and watch your insecurities dwindle away!
