You are here by divine appointment. God saw you coming whether you know it or not.  All the days of your life were recorded in heaven.

What am I doing here? What am I supposed to be doing?

Everybody at some point has had those thoughts.

If we're spending our life just going from day to day without knowing what we're here for then that is a problem.

You are here by divine appointment. God saw you coming whether you know it or not.  All the days of your life were recorded in heaven before you were born. You did not take God by surprise and He has no small plans for anybody.

What the Word Says:
God has a plan for our life. He has steps for us to take (Ps. 37:23). He has our days numbered (Ps. 123:16) and the hairs on our head counted (Luke 12:7). He has ordained us to do something specific. We are not  just taking up space consuming, oxygen, drinking water and simply existing.

Just like they said of Esther, you've been born for such a time as this, for a specific reason.

Joshua 1:9 (NIV), "Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the LORD your God will be with you wherever you go.”

In Isaiah 44 we read that God says He is the one who made us, who formed us in the womb and He will help us.

Not only has God, the creator of Heaven and Earth, made us, created a plan for our life that will prosper us — He has also promised to help us to find that plan and live it out. (Phil. 2:13)

We Will Give an Account
Our life is being measured right now. Every idle word, every idle deed, every idle thought we will give an account of. (Matt. 12:36-37)

That's why we need Jesus to help us. We need the power of the Holy Spirit to help us live our life, to be a witness and to bring honor to God in everything we do and everything we say.

Proverbs 29:18 (NIV) says, "Where there is no revelation, people cast off restraint; but blessed is the one who heeds wisdom's instruction."

Where there is no revelation of why you're here, you will have people who don't care about the consequences.

God will reveal His plan for our life when we ask Him. So if we don't ever find out, it will be because we didn't not ask.

That's why it says in Jeremiah 33:3. God says, "Call unto me and I will answer you and show you a great amount of things you don't know about."

You're here for a reason. You need to ask. That's why God says, seek me and you'll find me. Ask and I'll answer. Knock and it will be opened. Ask, seek, knock (Matt. 7:7-8).

God says, I know what you need before you ask, but I need you to ask. It's a legal situation. I know, but I need you to ask me. I will tell you and be glad to tell you. I am able to do exceedingly, abundantly above all that you ask or think, but I need you to ask.

Today, let's make it a point to seek God. Let's make it a priority to get in His Word daily. Let's enjoy the journey!
