A seed does not produce unless you plant it. If you had one grain of wheat, you couldn't make biscuits out of it. You couldn't make gravy out of it because it is not enough. But, if you are smart enough to plant it and keep planting the harvest, eventually you could feed the world from the wheat that grain produced. It is simple. When you plant it, it produces a harvest.

Jesus said to the disciples, "If you had faith that you were willing to plant." The problem was that they did not have faith they were willing to plant. They did not have faith as a seed. It is possible to have faith that is not planted or given to use.

You could say, "Oh, yes, I believe the Bible is true. I believe it from cover to cover."

Someone might say Philippians 4:19 says, "But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus." Luke 6:38 says, "Give, and it shall be given unto you; good measure, pressed down, and shaken together, and running over, shall men give into your bosom."

They say, "Well, yes, I know that's in the Bible."

"Is it true in your life?"

"Well, no, it's not true in my life."

"Why isn't it true in your life?"

"I guess it just isn't God's will."

The Word of God is the Will of God. It is God's will, but it won't happen in your life just because it's God's will. You will not be healed just because the Bible says, "by whose (Jesus') stripes ye were healed" (1 Peter 2:24). You will not become prosperous just because the Bible says, "what so ever he does shall prosper" (Ps. 1:3).

The Word must be inside you. You can't take a Bible down to the hospital and lay it on someone to get them healed, although the Bible is full of the Word of God. But if you can get that Word inside them, it will manifest itself. The Word produces when it is planted in the heart.
