The seed of the righteous shall be delivered.
(Prov. 11:21 KJV)
I knew a woman whose son had been classified by the police as a hopeless, habitual criminal. The woman meditated on and prayed the above verse over her son. She even proclaimed by faith, "I know God is going to save my son. He will preach in this church."

She focused all her attention on God's transforming power.

One night, she felt an unusual burden to pray in the Spirit for her son. An hour later, he called her long distance, asking what she had been doing earlier. He said a man to whom he'd sold some bad drugs had come to his apartment, beaten him to a pulp, then pulled out a gun, intending to shoot him.

The man tried to pull the trigger, but couldn't bend his finger! Finally, he threw the gun down and ran out, declaring, "Your mother is doing something to stop me from pulling this trigger!"

Needless to say, the son received Jesus as his Lord and was filled with the Holy Spirit shortly thereafter. He attended Bible school and was later a guest speaker at his mother's church, just as his mother had declared.

Your children can be transformed! Whether they are grown and living a life of sin or still at home under your covering, the transforming power of God's Word is available to help them.
