It's that time of the year when I want to gather my family and friends around me and tell them how dear they are and how much I love them. I love to lavish them with gifts as an expression of my love.

Yes, I've been told that I give too much to my children and my grandchildren, but I can't help it. I am filled with as much joy as they are when I see the light in their eyes and the squeal of delight in their voice as they open each gift and say, "Mom, it's just what I wanted," or "Mimi, it was just what I prayed for!"

I believe it's the nature of my Heavenly Father to give. He gave us the very best gift heaven had to offer—the gift of His Son Jesus. I'm convinced from what I see in the scriptures that we are almost out of time here on earth. The rapture of the church is just around the corner. As Charles Capps says, "The lease is about to expire for mankind." We are about to enter a new millennium.

Regardless of the field of endeavor, everyone agrees that there is not enough time in the day. And most are aware of the fact that time is about to run out for planet earth.

In his book entitled, "End Time Events," Brother Charles Capps compares the end times to a triangle:

I saw in the Spirit a large acute triangle, and these words came forth: As you approach the triangle of the end, time shall grow faster and closer, faster and closer...until the wicked shall be cut off. It was standing on end, looking somewhat like an inverted pyramid. The prophetic word continued:

There was a time when you could be off from the centerline of the triangle and still be inside the triangle of light. But as you approach the triangle of the end, you must move to the centerline, for line must be upon line, precept upon precept.

I could see that if you were off from the centerline, at the bottom end of the triangle you would be outside the triangle and in darkness, and that was the way the wicked would be cut off. Even though they were to one side of the centerline of God's Word at the top of the triangle of time, they were still in the light.

But at the narrow end, which represented the end of the age, everyone who was not on the centerline (precept of God's Word) at the end of the age would be in darkness.

As we approach the Seventh Millennium, time seems to have accelerated and prophetic events are being compressed together. We have entered the triangle of the end, in which both the time allotted, and prophetic events are being compressed to maximum density to fulfill all the prophetic Scriptures, and end the age in God's own time frame.

Almost daily, we are seeing prophetic scriptures fulfilled right before us. You could almost turn on the news and read your Bible right along with it. We are living in the last days. That's why I find it so important for each one of us to share Jesus with our family members and friends quickly.

As we all know, it's not enough to just be a good person and live a good, moral life. We must accept Jesus into our hearts and believe that He is the Son of God, that He died on the cross for us and was raised from the dead.

Don't think that just because your "Aunt Peggy" was on the school board, volunteered at the local nursing home, and never drank alcohol or smoked cigarettes that she's going to heaven. We are not judged by our deeds—we must be born again.

So I encourage you to begin thinking and acting as though time is running out (because it is) and realize just how important it is that you share what you know about Jesus with everyone you can.

If Jesus were to come tomorrow, would you be satisfied with your family's spiritual condition? If not, then be bold about it. Don't keep Jesus to yourself. Give the gift of Jesus—it's a sure gift they'll never refund or exchange!
