When working with staff, do you encourage them to stretch themselves and become more effective?

Paul instructed, "we urge you, brethren,...encourage the fainthearted, help the weak, be patient with all men" (1 Thess. 9:14 NASB).

All of us have weak points, and an important part of management is to recognize and then help staff overcome their weaknesses.

If a person has difficulty dealing with angry or difficult customers, try role playing and demonstrate how to work through problems with customers.

Then offer feedback on future performance. Watch for personal growth on the job and create a team of winners who serve customers.
