Moses told the people, "Cursed is he who misleads a blind person on the road" (Deut. 27:18 NASB).
If we want long-term relationships with customers, we must understand a customer's need and then endeavor to meet that need, rather than just selling our inventory.
A restaurant may push the buffet late in the day, rather than suggesting ordering off the menu, or a clothing clerk may say the blouse looks great when the fit is poor just to make a sale.
The long-term result is an unhappy customer who won't come back. So, meet the needs of your customers.
