When criticized by your boss and you believe your actions were correct, do you let your anger show or do you stay calm?

Solomon wrote, "If the ruler's temper rises against you, do not abandon your position...composure allays great offenses" (Ecclesiastes 10:4, NASB).

When you're right and your boss is angry at you, slow down. Clarify what is the issue. Ask why the boss is upset. Calmly reply with facts and focus on clarifying the situation.

Stick to the facts. Your calm demeanor will speak volumes to the correctness of your position.

People shout when they don't have the facts, so stay calm to set the record straight.
