The Apostle Paul wrote, "...the overseer must...not" be "quick tempered..." (Titus 1:7 NASB).
Quick-tempered managers make mistakes and kill morale. No one likes a hot-headed boss.
When considering finalists for a management position, ask previous employers and references for examples of coolness under fire or when they lost their temper.
If a pattern of a short fuse emerges, back off and don't offer a job, no matter how good they look otherwise.
The solid, even-tempered team members will build a successful organization.
