I'm a pastor of a church and I have a great problem when other churches keep coming into the same city I'm in. Why don't these pastors come and help me or other existing pastors instead of starting their own church?

Not every person who starts a church is going to be in the will of God. However, it is impossible for you or me to judge their hearts, as only time will tell. I believe a pastor has to focus on his calling and the vision that God has given to him.

I'm convinced that there is no person on the earth who can stop me from being successful if I'm doing what God has called me to do. We have to learn to be secure in our calling; knowing that we are doing what God called us to do. If God called me, and I'm right where He wants me, a hundred churches can pop up all around me and I'll do well. I'll be fine because I'm in the will of God.

It is important for me to mention that Jesus told us to pray for more harvesters to go out into the field:
But when He saw the multitudes, He was moved with compassion on them, because they fainted, and were scattered abroad, as sheep having no shepherd. Then saith He unto his disciples, "The harvest truly is plentious, but the labourers are few; Pray ye therefore the Lord of the harvest, that he will send forth labourers into his harvest."
(Matt. 9:36-38 KJV)
There is a multitude of people who need a touch from God. We should welcome others who are working for God. This is the only attitude I've found that allows me to walk in peace. No man can steal from you what God has given you to do!
