covid stimulusWhy settle for less than all of what God has provided? Is it possible that you’re not fully experiencing the full inheritance Jesus left for you?

This world has been facing some of the hardest times the past few months, from lockdowns, to protests, and even riots. Many people are searching for answers and trying to pick up the pieces. I want you to know that God has not forgotten about you.

Through all of this pain and disruption, God is working behind the scenes right now, and He is arranging a miracle-sized stimulus package for you.

There are many good-hearted believers who are not embracing God’s promises to their full extent. They tend to go through life unaware of God’s plan to provide and bless them. But this is not a new issue. Even the Apostle Paul encountered Christians that were not aware of all the Jesus provided.

It reminds me of what the Apostle Paul addressed to the believers living in Corinth saying, “Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the Spirit who is from God, that we might know the things that have been freely given to us by God” (1 Cor. 2:12).

Don’t miss what Paul is trying to tell us. He is saying that God wants us to fully grasp all that belongs to us through what Jesus did for us through His death and resurrection. The Amplified translation of this scripture expounds on this and says we are to also appreciate it.

Why is it that so many believers don’t fully receive and appreciate all that Jesus paid for on the cross? Many are deceived into thinking they have to wait until heaven to receive the gifts freely given to them by God.

Don’t be fooled into thinking that you have to wait for a “heavenly inheritance.” I don’t want you to miss out on what is available now because of a misguided expectation of not receiving it until reaching heaven.

God’s promises are not for a distant future, but they are actually for the here and now!

The psalmist David wrote in the twenty-third Psalm about how God has prepared a table for you. The implication here is that the table represents all your needs being met and you being able to sit back and enjoy it. But this is not a “heavenly banquet.” The psalmist is clear in saying He prepares this table for you… in the presence of your enemies! (Psalm 23:5) You’re not going to have any enemies in heaven!

Jesus paid the greatest price ensuring you could live in victory and freedom here on earth in the presence of your enemies. In fact, those enemies are going to have to stand there and watch as all your needs are met and you enjoy God’s goodness and provision.

So, let me ask you, are you coming to the table? When Jesus stripped Satan of the keys to hell and the grave, raising back to life on the third day, God started ringing the dinner bell! What are you waiting for? There is a seat prepared for you!

In the New Testament, the Apostle Paul revealed, “Furthermore, because we are united with Christ, we have received an inheritance from God, for he chose us in advance, and he makes everything work out according to his plan” (Eph. 1:11). God has chosen you to receive an inheritance as His child.

Why would any believer think the inheritance is given when they go to heaven? I won’t receive the inheritance from my parents when I die. I received it when they died. Similarly, you don’t receive God’s inheritance when you die; you received it when Jesus died on the cross!

Speaking of God’s giving nature, Paul said in the Book of Romans, “He that spared not his own Son, but delivered him up for us all, how shall he not with him also freely give us all things” (Rom. 8:32).

God’s the Giver, not the taker. He’s not withholding anything from you. If you’ve ever thought that it’s God who is withholding from you, get rid of that kind of thinking right now.

He’s not the one who refrains from giving to His people. He’s the greatest GIVER in the universe. Paul also tells us, “But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus” (Phil. 4:19).

Over the past few months, countries all over the world dealing with economic downturn due to coronavirus shutdowns have arranged stimulus packages. How much greater is God’s plan to meet your needs?

God told me to tell you He has a stimulus package arranged for you!

Paul writes in his letter to the Corinthians declaring, “But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him” (1 Cor. 2:9).

God is arranging a greater stimulus package than you can even imagine. Greater resources than anyone has ever seen. God has got you covered, and you don’t have to worry about a thing!

What is in this stimulus package? Looking again at First Corinthians chapter two, verse twelve says, “Now we have not received the spirit that belongs to the world, but the Holy Spirit Who is from God, given to us that we might realize and comprehend and appreciate the gifts of divine favor and blessing so freely and lavishly bestowed on us by God” (Amplified Bible).

Did you catch that? God’s stimulus package for you is divine favor and blessing! God showed me many years ago that the blessing is the empowerment to prosper and favor produces the opportunities to make it happen.

Activate your faith and raise your expectation for His divine favor and blessing to manifest here and now. Begin to thank Him every day for His stimulus package. Stimulus means something that arouses hope and lifts one’s spirit. Let this word from God inspire and encourage your faith!
