"Casting the whole of your care [all your anxieties, all your worries, all your concerns, once and for all] on Him, for He cares for you affectionately and cares about you watchfully" (1 Peter 5:7 AMP).

Have you ever asked yourself the questions, Does God really care about me? Does He know what I'm going through?

I'm sure at one time or another all of us have felt like no one cared about us and the problems we were facing in life. Maybe there's even been a time when we thought God Himself didn't care.

But God does care about us. Psalm 55:22 says, "Cast thy burden upon the Lord, and he shall sustain thee: he shall never suffer the righteous to be moved."

In other words, we can cast our cares on God, and He will sustain us because we are in right standing with Him. If we will just commit our burdens to Him and keep walking with Him, His Word promises us that we cannot fail.

Of course, the enemy wants us to think about all of our problems and try to work them out ourselves. But once we begin to carry our own burdens, then we've really got problems! Problems and difficulties may come, but we've got to learn how to cast them over on God so He can work them out!

There is a secret to living a peaceful life of happiness in the Lord. It is to cast all of our problems, burdens, griefs, and anxieties on the Lord! I didn't say that would always be easy to do. It is probably one of the hardest things to do because problems have a way of grabbing our attention, and we want to try to figure them out.

We will all face problems and trials in life. Sometimes we face circumstances that can overwhelm us if we don't look to the Word of God and keep our eyes on Him. The feelings we experience are real, but God and His Word are bigger than our feelings or any problem! God did not create us and then just leave us to take care of ourselves - He cares about us!

Have you ever noticed that when you're feeling down and depressed, it's usually because you are carrying all the cares, worries, and anxieties of life upon your own shoulders?

God knew you would have burdens and anxieties in this life. He said in His Word to cast, throw, or commit your burdens on Him! You do not have to carry your own burdens. There is One who carried them for you, and His Name is Jesus. He can work out everything you commit to Him because He cares!
