Kjell Fenn

Web site: Answer The Call Ministries
Kjell grew up in a Christian home and has been exposed to the church life since he was just a child. This has helped prepare him for ministry in that he knows intimately the life of a believer in a church, including the struggles that church-going Christians face. After struggling for years with "what's my call in life?", Kjell discovered that it was as a messenger of hope.

Kjell graduated from Nyack College with a degree in English, Secondary Education and later became an English teacher at a high school in Texas and then a middle school in Connecticut. He received his Master's degree from Liberty University in Counseling: Human Relations. Kjell was an education consultant for an agency in Connecticut in which he traveled the State extensively training educators as well as coordinated statewide events and major conferences. He has international experience, having presented in the U.S., Canada, and Honduras and continues to do so. Kjell has written a book on student motivation (

Answer the Call Ministries began in 2003 in the home of Kjell and Marcy Fenn, although it had been in their hearts for years. The vision for Answer the Call Ministries is simple: Know the Hope of His Calling. It is based on Ephesians 1:18 which says, "The eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that you may know what is the hope of His calling, and what the riches of the glory of His inheritance in the saints...." Now, they are missionaries in Honduras (2008-present).

Kjell teaches at Discovery International School in Tegucigalpa, Honduras. With his passion for teaching and specifically training teachers mixed with his experience as a trainer and teacher, Kjell serves God through providing hope in the classroom. He has challenged students to think critically, think about their future and how they can help Honduras, created a Drama department, and started a literary work, Chronicles of Discovery. At times, he has also offered teacher training, educational support, supplies and materials, and related assistance to rural (typically mountain villages) and/or poor (typically in inner cities) schools.
