Stand up for who you are! You are a member of the body of Christ. You have abilities and power behind you that the world can't comprehend! The power of God is not adjusted to great power or small power by the location of a Christian.

In other words, the power of the blood for protection is just as great in the darkest country of the world as it is in the free world. This is why we were commanded by our Lord to go and teach the good news of the Word to all nations. Without the knowledge of the protective power of the blood, a Christian will not access it. Unless we apply the blood to the doorpost of our homes and hearts, the destroyer will not pass over.

We, as Christians, have the awesome responsibility to tell the world of this power.

My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge.
(Hosea 4:6)

Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.
(Matt. 28:19-20)

No weapon formed against you can prosper (Isa. 54:17). There is nothing that can come against you that cannot be conquered by using the words of your mouth!

You have the Word of God, the name and the blood of Jesus available on a moment's notice! You are the only one who is keeping you from using this awesome power!

Again, the devil is a defeated foe. The only authority and power he has is what we give him. So if the devil is coming against you, you can make him stop!

When you get face to face with the devil, don't back off. Just put your finger in his face and say, "Be gone! You have no right here. In the name of Jesus, get out of my path!"

Greater Is He That Is In You
We have the freedom to study about the blood of Jesus and the ability, if we'll take it, to use the blood of Jesus in our lives totally unhindered by man.

When we go out into the world we can be mighty warriors. We don't have to be beaten down wimps. We don't have to go into the workplace and have people look at us and make fun of us and watch us cower and say, "Well, I'd better not say anything. I sure don't want to embarrass myself." Stand up for who you are! Stand up for who He is. "Greater is He that is in you than he that is in the world" (1 John 4:4).

There is a way to activate the power of God and keep the devil out of your face. When he comes against your home, your family or your finances, there is something you can do to push back the devil and keep him out. Now, somebody may say, "Does that mean we can kick the devil off the face of the earth?" No! There are limits to your authority. That is why you must have the knowledge of what God says for you to do.

I was in a Bible study one time when I heard a lady pray, "And, Satan, I command you back to hell from whence you came." The Bible doesn't say the devil has ever been to hell, and he certainly doesn't want to go there anyway. The Bible prophetically tells us when the devil is going to be cast into hell in Revelation 20:10.

We must know how God says to handle the devil and we must know what we're doing. The devil may be loose in the spirit realm on the earth, but we can keep him and the forces of the enemy out of our space. Your words are powerful, but your words will never override God's prophecy. "Therefore submit to God. Resist the devil and he will flee from you" (James 4:7).
