"Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen" (Heb. 11:1).

We don't naturally see faith, but in the spirit realm faith can be seen. I believe when we pass over into the spirit realm, we will be shocked at the things we have moved around over there by the words of our mouth.

Over the years I've heard many people make the comment, "It doesn't matter what you say. It only matters what you do." What we do is extremely important. We know that faith without works is dead.
However, we cannot ignore the value and power of our words. Our words are our commitment to our decision that we make in our soul. Yes, actions are important, but if our words don't line up with our actions and our words don't change, our actions will.

Again, if a man is a good husband who treats his wife well, but he constantly speaks to everyone else that she is lazy, ugly, worthless and stupid, and if he refuses to change his confession and continues to speak these bad words about his wife, he will eventually start to believe his own words. As this happens, his outward actions will start lining up with what he speaks and believes. His words will change his actions.

Everybody has 20/20 hindsight. If you had known 20 years ago what you know now, I'm sure many disasters would have been avoided. However, don't get caught in the trap of looking backward. Look forward in faith. Change your words starting today.
