We should expect wisdom to be given to us. The Bible says in James 1:5, "If any man lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him."

When you have heard God's voice, you have heard His wisdom. Thank God for His powerful wisdom. It forces a passage through the strongest barriers.

Wisdom is seeing everything from God's perspective. It is knowing when and how to use the knowledge that comes from the Lord. The old saying is true, "He who knows nothing, doubts nothing." But it is also true that he who knows has a solid basis for his belief.

Drink It In
Just think, we human beings have available to us the wisdom of the Creator of the universe. Yet so few drink at the fountain of His wisdom; most just rinse out their mouths. Many may try to live without the wisdom of the bread of life, but they will die in their efforts.

The world doesn't spend billions of dollars for wisdom. It spends billions in search of wisdom. Yet it is readily available to everyone who seeks its divine source.

There are ten steps to gaining godly wisdom:
  1. Fear God (Ps. 111:10)
  2. Please God (Eccl. 2:26)
  3. Hear God (Prov. 2:6)
  4. Look to God (Prov. 3:13)
  5. Choose God's way (Prov. 8:10-11)
  6. Be humble before God (Prov. 11:2)
  7. Take God's advice (Prov. 13:10)
  8. Receive God's correction (Prov. 29:15)
  9. Pray to God (Eph. 1:17)
  10. Know the Son of God (1 Cor. 1:30)
