“The word which God sent unto the children of Israel, preaching peace by Jesus Christ: (he is Lord of all)” (Acts 10:36 KJV).
The Word of God preached is that Jesus is the author of peace. If you don’t have Jesus, you don’t have peace. But if you have Jesus, you ought to have peace. You ought to have comfort. You ought to have assurance; you’ve got your trust in Him.
The Word says in Romans 14:17 “For the kingdom of God is not meat and drink; but righteousness, and peace, and joy in the Holy Spirit.”
The kingdom of God is peace in the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit is on the inside of you. Regardless of what your mind is trying to do right now, and what turmoil is all around you, you can sit back in the middle of it and have quiet confidence.
Now, when you walk in this kind of peace, people who don’t know what is going on kind of look at you funny and wonder what is wrong with you. You don’t have enough sense to worry. When you have the peace of God, you don’t have to worry. You’re already assured. You know what the outcome of this is, and you’re not going to be moved by these circumstances.
You are going to look to the inside. The supernatural peace. Peace allows you to be able to function in the middle of turmoil. When you’re operating in peace, you can think straight.
Satan wants to do everything he can to get you to stop functioning in the peace of God. You see, he understands that if he can get you out of the peace of God, all flustered and worried, then before long he’ll have you in doubt and unbelief.
Christians are equipped to operate supernaturally in this world. When you yield to the fruit of the spirit in you, you overcome the wrok of the flesh. You don’t have to look for help on the outside. Help is already on the inside. God put it in you. He always equips His children with whatever they need, long before they ever need it.
I don’t care what kind of turmoil is going on outside, peace like a river is on the inside. When peace and faith get to working together, the devil has had it. If you have faith – you believe you receive – you have peace. Then nothing can knock you out. So, act as though it is already done. Relax right here and now.
