My God Shall Supply

by Tim Davidson | Devotions, Featured Devotions

But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus.

(Phil. 4:19 KJV)

Our source of full supply is the abundance of God’s riches in glory. Is God ever low on or out of anything? No. God’s treasures shall supply our every need. God’s glorious approval and go-ahead will take care of all our requirements on a daily basis.

The Message Bible says: You can be sure that God will take care of everything you need, his generosity exceeding even yours in the glory that pours from Jesus.

How we think about these things is so very important. God means what He says when He says that He shall supply all our need. “Shall supply” means: to cram full like a fishnet, to furnish, to fill up and to satisfy. There is never any lack in God. And He says that He will stand with us and take responsibility for us to see that there isn’t any lack in us either. Like Father and Son, we will also bear the God family resemblance.

Today’s Thought to Take With You:

I am fully supplied today in every area of my life by the abundance of riches in God through Jesus my Lord.
