Screen Out The Whiners

When interviewing prospective employees, do you screen out those constant complainers?

Jude wrote that some people “are grumblers, finding fault…for the sake of gaining advantage” (Jude 16 NASB).

We have all worked with folks who constantly complain about everything and drag everyone else down.

When interviewing people, ask a key question. Ask what their past bosses could have done better. Follow up by asking for examples.

Allow plenty of time for an answer and watch for an attitude, either positive or negative, to emerge. Hire those only with a balanced perspective.
