“…Believe in the Lord your God, and you shall be established; believe His prophets, and you shall prosper.”

And when he had consulted with the people, he appointed those who should sing to the Lord, and who should praise the beauty of holiness, as they went out before the army and were saying: “Praise the Lord, for His mercy endures forever.”
Now when they began to sing and to praise, the Lord set ambushes against the people of Ammon, Moab, and Mount Seir, who had come against Judah; and they were defeated.
(2 Chron. 20:20-22)

There is so much for you to receive from this great story. God’s word to His people was, “…The battle is not yours, but God’s” (v. 15). The people were instructed to “…stand still and see the salvation of the Lord…” (v. 17).

In the above verses, God instructs His people to believe His Word. In doing so, they will be established and prosper. Believing God is the key to prosperity and success. Salvation comes by believing God. Healing and the baptism of the Spirit both come by believing God. Believing God is the first step in receiving from God and seeing miracles.

God often gives us something to do as an expression of our faith in Him. In this case, He directed the people to begin to worship and praise Him for His mercy. Singers were designated to go out before the army and magnify God.

Singing praises to God is one of the highest expressions of faith. You can praise Him before you see any answer with your physical eyes. God’s Word has already given you a clear picture of victory. It is yours now. Simply live the life of praise and worship. Let your life become a melody of praise.

DECLARATION OF FAITHFather, I give You praise for my victory in You. I rejoice in Your triumph over my enemies. I thank You for the solutions to all the problems I will ever face. Every day I will sing songs of praise to You, Jesus. You are my everything.
