What should you and I do when we don’t know what to do? We should talk to God about it.
Psalms 37:23 NLT says, “The steps of the godly are directed by the Lord; He delights in every detail of their lives.” There is not one thing that is too small or insignificant to God that concerns your life. He is interested in every detail about you. He is not bothered by anything you would need to ask Him. In fact, He is ready and waiting to help you with everything you face, if you will take the time to ask Him about it.
James 1:5 NLT tells us, “If you need wisdom, ask our generous God, an he will give it to you. He will not rebuke you for asking.”
Anytime we don’t know what to do in a certain situation, we can stop and ask God, “Lord, what should I do? What is the answer to this problem? What do You want me to say? Which choice should I make?”
You can count on Him to show you the right thing to do. Sometimes you may hear Him speak to you in your heart. At other times, He will bring the answer to you in a thought that you hadn’t had before, or a certain course of action will all at once become clear to you.
One thing is for sure, when we seek God’s help, He will be faithful to give us the help we need. When we ask Him, He will give us the solution for every problem, no matter how large or how small it is.
The Lord will even help us to choose what clothes to put on each day as we ask Him. He delights in leading, guiding, and helping each one of us.
The Lord is all-knowing. (Rom. 11:33) He knows everything. Anytime we don’t know what to do, we can go to Him, because He not only knows about all that goes on, He also knows the solution to it all.
God is the answer for our life. He is the answer to our every need and desire. He is the answer to every question, every problem, in fact, He is the answer to everything.
