It is so important that you find what I call, the “Place Of God” as a teenager. Establish the principles of God now while you are young and still in school; don’t wait until you become an adult.
Get grounded in God while you don’t have the distractions that you will soon have once you get out of high school.
You say, “Steve, I’m still in school and I’ve got tons of distractions right now!” Let me tell ya’, you ain’t seen nothin’ yet. That’s why you have to get established in the “P.O.G.,” now.
Learn how to walk in this place. Learn how to stand and stay in this place. ‘Cause that’s where the goods of God are.
Evil does not come from your parents; evil doesn’t come from grandparents and evil doesn’t come from our government…and most of all you need to know that evil does not come from God. Period!
It’s impossible for God to do evil. Every word that’s in the Bible, every scripture that is written totally annihilates any untruth that says that God is out to get your goat. (Or your sheep…depending on how you look at it.)
Man, I used to think that God had a split personality. I thought that sometimes He was good to me and sometimes He was evil towards me. I actually thought that!
The Bible says in Jeremiah 29:11, “I know my thoughts for you and they are good and not evil for the final outcome of your life.”
