“And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.”
Jesus was born in a manger as human as any baby that was ever born. Yet there was something different about Him. He had no fallen nature. He had no original sin nature. He was God’s Son and there He was…among us.
The Message Bible says: “The Word became flesh and blood, and moved into the neighborhood. We saw the glory with our own eyes, the one-of-a-kind glory, like Father, like Son, generous inside and out, true from start to finish.”
Jesus, the Word, God’s Son, became a human being and lived here with us. This was a marvelous and miraculous day when Jesus became flesh, as we are. This was the first time that man could look at the holy and righteous God and live. Because Jesus became as we are, we can now become as He is. He is full of grace and truth.
I’m in fellowship with Jesus today. I don’t walk in darkness but I walk with Him.
