“In whom ye also are builded together for an habitation of God through the Spirit.”
God is building a sanctuary for Himself to dwell in on the Earth. It’s not made of bricks or stones. It’s made with people. People who believe in Jesus make up the living parts of God’s house. We all have a place and we all have a part to fulfill in God’s great plan for man.
Being set in the Body and functioning there is the true fulfillment of our divine design and destiny. Any failure on our part to take our place in God’s plan will lead to great frustration and confusion. So go with God.
The Message Bible says: “All of us built into it, a temple in which God is quite at home.”
We are now the residence God lives in and where, through His Spirit, He ministers. Together with all other believers we are the Body of Christ, a habitation of God in the Spirit. That means that God walks and talks in us and reveals Himself to the world through us. We have the awesome privilege of being built together as the living habitation of God in the Spirit.
Today I am the dwelling place of God by the Spirit. I live my life for the glory of God.
