Negative self-talk—who told you that you were dumb? Who told you that you were ugly? Who told you? I love the Scripture in Genesis, when God was looking for Adam and Eve, they hid from Him. It says that they hid because they were naked.

So Adam said, "I heard Your voice in the garden, and I was afraid because I was naked; and I hid myself." And God said, "Who told you that you were naked?" (Gen. 3:10-11).

Now if you were from Texas you would say "neck-ed." Who told you that you were neck-ed?

Negative self-talk. Who told you it was wrong to be transparent? Who told you it was wrong to look the way I created you? Who told you that?

Don't you dare let the devil get into your spirit and tell you that you are ugly, dumb or incapable because God says you are capable! Don't ever let the devil say you are not lovable, because you are lovable.

Are you with me here?

I'm telling you, don't ever let the devil say you are not valuable or that you are unimportant because God says you are valuable and you are important. Get this in your spirit, young people! Don't just put this in you head and forget about it, get it in your spirit.

God's Word has the ability to set you free from a negative self-image and give you a positive self-image!

Jesus is Lord!
